Floyd went to the working side of the easel after 7 or 8 years of figure modeling himself.   He had listened in at all the classes he had ‘attended’ over the years, so he thought he’d give it a try to see what had rubbed off. That was in April of 2005.  

Other than that he’s not had any formal lessons.
